Associate

Ariela Yevick joined Weiss & Arons in 2009 as a technical assistant and is now an associate with the firm.  Ariela is involved in all aspects of the preparation and prosecution of utility and design patent applications in the fields of biomedical, electrical, computer and mechanical engineering.  Ariela manages large IP portfolios including both U.S. and foreign patent applications.  Ariela’s foreign patent work includes working closely with foreign counsel to prosecute foreign applications in China, Japan, the EPO, Hong Kong, Australia, India and Israel.   

Ariela’s practice also includes performance and analysis of freedom-to-operate searches, preparation of licensing agreements and opinion letters.

Ariela received an Honors Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto as a Specialist in Applied Physics. While at the University of Toronto she engaged in research in the field of quantum entanglement, performing advanced calculations on the dephasing of a two-qubit system.  Ariela enjoys applying her technical knowledge to the patent field.
