Shoshana handles a wide variety of trademark matters.  Her practice includes all aspects of trademark searching and clearance, as well as the prosecution of trademark and copyright applications through to registration.  Shoshana regularly opines on the availability and strength of trademarks and guides clients through the complexity of brand building and brand protection.  Shoshana’s clients include large corporations, as well as individuals and small businesses.

Shoshana develops and executes strategies for trademark policing and enforcing.  When conflicts arise, Shoshana represents clients in contested matters, and helps plaintiffs and defendants navigate disputes, whether in Federal Court, before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), and/or in connection with UDRP proceedings. 

Shoshana has been managing global trademark portfolios for years.  She works closely with foreign associates throughout the world to procure foreign marks and to manage foreign trademark matters, including cross-border opposition and cancellation proceedings, and maintenance.

Shoshana is active in intellectual property and legal organizations.  She is a member of the International Trademark Association, the Intellectual Property Law Section of the New York Bar Association, and the Westchester Women’s Bar Association.
