Abigail A. Rubinstein, Esq.


Abigail focuses her practice on all aspects of trademark, copyright, trade secrets and Internet law. She has represented clients in procurement and litigation matters in a wide range of industries including, computer hardware and software, wireless telecommunications, financial services, credit and debit and financial brokerage industries, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, non-profit organizations, cosmetics and personal care, apparel, jewelry and fashion accessories, as well as in the hotel and lodging, food, and beverage industries.

Abigail practiced at a number of large international law firms before joining Weiss & Arons. She has extensive experience litigating trademark infringement, copyright, false advertising and unfair competition claims, counterfeiting, trade dress, parody, Internet and eCommerce issues, domain name disputes and other areas of cyberlaw.

Abigail also assists clients with the creation of trademark and branding strategies and the development of programs to enforce and protect intellectual property rights, both in the United States and abroad. She counsels clients as to domain name portfolio management, copyright and trademark prosecution and portfolio management, and provides clearance opinions. Abigail also has extensive transactional experience counseling clients regarding trademark and copyright licensing matters, due diligence, and all intellectual property facets of mergers and acquisitions.

Abigail’s practice also includes significant work in social media counseling and enforcement, including developing policies and guidelines for employee’s external and internal use of social media. Abigail has also counseled clients on cutting edge issues such as ICANN’s new gTLD program including strategies for brand promotion and protection in these spaces.

In addition to her work for Weiss & Arons, Abigail actively participates in the International Trademark Association (INTA), where she regularly serves on various project teams and committees.
